Turn on your lamp and unfold/stretch its twin
Two hanging lamps are connected to each other and mirror the use of one to the other. A soft, pressure button allows you to light yours, as any normal lamp would do, but its twin will then retract itself according to the pressure sensored. The other person can tell the light has been lit by the first user by seeing their lamp moving, but also with what pressure since the longer the object is, the more pressure they used on the button. A way to know if he might be relaxed or angry, sleepy etc… just by the unnoticed pressure on a button.
